I had researched this camera extensively before buying it, but was torn between the various packages available. This one includes the standard Canon lens (very nice), memory card, cleaning cloth, extra battery, battery charger, data cables, case, and Tamron telephoto/macro lens. I'm very cheerful with the camera. The case is something you will probably want to replace because the closures are not net and can't be made fetch. There's a risk of the top opening and dumping your hardware. The Tamron lens is ok... very nice for the notice... but don't think it to be comparable to more expensive lenses. It does not have the image stabilizer and it has some issues accepting standard-size filters, like it is a half a millimeter off or something. Having said that, this lens is the reason I selected the package. It takes attractive macro shots. You'll accumulate nice telephoto shots too, but have that tripod handy.
The camera package was everything it claimed to be. I highly recommend it, but be aware the case is low-quality and the Tamron lens is great/better for some purposes, but not the same as the Canon telephoto lens that is out there.
I impartial wanted to squawk others that Cameta Camera did send me the camera on time as promised.
It's a favorable camera, the Canon Lens is quality, and (as far as I'm concerned) the "cheaper" Tamron Lens is very nice.
The bag, extra battery, memory card, card reader, manufacture it a first-rate deal, especially when you figure you gain all of it for what you'd pay for honest the camera and standard lens at a store like Best Assume.
IT ABSOLUTELY ROCKS!! Coolest Camera I've ever played with. I have had lots of other lower ruin digitals and they are all ok - but his one is the best yet. It has all the bells and whistles of the older 35mm that my photographer friends have and savor. i've let a couple of them play with mine and they say it is the best digital for the money out there.
