I recently bought this system and spent yesterday installing and tinkering with it. I am quite cheerful with it! Here are my thoughts: Everything that came in the box was as expected, achieve that the DVR didn't have an S-video output as I had seen it with before (I fill I bought an "upgraded" one which didn't have the output) . I was initially disappointed, but later found that the regular video-only composite output worked pleasing for me. That was my only disappointment with the system, and it has turned out to be a non-issue. One of the huge things I was looking for was ensuring that each camera didn't require a local power source, as I didn't appreciate the concept of running receptacles to each camera site. This one has a single cable with an S-video connector that runs to each camera and carries both power AND video signal, so that worked out tall. Installation was a run (despite spending a day in my attic) and the components worked together the first time I effect the system together. Bringing the describe up through the web was also a snap as well - the instructions in the user guide are quite valid for what you need to do. One of the biggest complaints about this system (and really all others in the sub-$1000 effect range) that I had read before buying it is the lack of night vision clarity. I don't know what people are talking about with this particular system because I was impressed with the recount I got from the night vision from the cameras - out to about 20 feet away from the camera in a completely gloomy inside room and with some lights (like indirect lighting through windows) my outdoor cameras were able to have a complete field of understanding. As far as installation, I am not a techie, but installing it was very straightforward and made sense. It went together rapid and though it took me a day to install, the majority of that time was spent running cables through walls and through ceilings to have all of the cables hidden from idea. Data recording is a snap, and changing menu items is easy as well. The only thing I wish I had known before I installed the cameras is their field of opinion, which I had expected to be zoomed out a bit more than they actually are. Had I known what I was going to behold, I would have probably mounted the cameras wait on a itsy-bitsy further from the areas they are recording in order to earn a better overall thought. My suggestion would be to lay the system out BEFORE installing it to ensure that you are satisfied with the opinion that you have before you originate drilling holes and running cable. Overall, I am very cheerful with the system and I have already recommended this system to a family member who is planning on buying it as well. I would highly recommend this to anyone!

We recently purchased and installed the SVAT web ready DVR system at our position of business after being hit by thieves and vandals. The night vision cameras were unbelievably gleaming in a dimly lit status. Some of the features I like about this unit is of course the night vision cameras, the ability to idea the cameras over the internet, the ability to recount continuously or as motion sensors.

This unit was well worth the money. We have not been burglarized or vandalized since installing these. The presence is an gracious deterent. HOWEVER, If they reach wait on -- We are ready!

My company bought this system to monitor an industrial robot. They work ample and the recount quality is decent. It interfaced with our network easy enough. It is a sizable resource to be able to review the video history and even effect screenshots and .avi videos to our pc's.

Only cons that kept this from getting 5 stars:

1. The camera mounts are dreadful. They are poorly designed and have to be readjusted often. We fixed this by globbing silicone caulk around the tainted so they wouldn't recede.

2. There is a well known hdd pickle with these units. Apparently if you are recording and lose power, the hdd can catch corrupted. This happened to us a few months after installing it. Luckily, all I had to do was employ the reformat option in the menu and the hdd worked again even though we lost the data.

3. If you lose power you can lose all of your settings (camera setups and IP addresses) It can be a harm to fix but not that spacious of a deal.

4. When reviewing video history, the dvr makes chapters every 45-60mins. You hold one of these chapters and then have to ffw to the fraction you want to peruse. The ffw can be beautiful expressionless and it takes awhile to acquire towards the waste of the chapter.

Other than listed above we have been very satisfied with this system. At six hundred bucks you unbiased can't beat it. We impartial ordered another and I'm clear it won't be the last.

I am overall happy with the projector. At 2600 lumens I expected to be blown away with the brightness. I however am not an expert with projectors and was not as wow'd by the brightness as I hoped to be. Years ago I had a 600 lumen camera and it had to be totally dusky to examine the image. I was hoping with this camera that the recount would be as vivid as watching a substantial cover TV. With light in the room however the image is softened. A friend of mine doesn't have this assure with the projector he bought but he paid $7,000 for it. Radiant this I don't feel poor about the shrimp quality let down considering I paid less than $1k for the projector. Now in arrive murky or complete black environment, this camera does wow you with the quality of the characterize. I really am overall ecstatic with the hold. As the title states I would grasp this again considering the quality I am getting for the stamp I paid. As for other features, this has many connections in the support and was easy to state up and install. Bulb heats up and comes on swiftly, bulb will auto shut off to establish hours, and the bulb runs around $300 from what I have found on the internet. By the time the bulb goes abominable in mine I hope the stamp will have arrive down. I did a tremendous deal of research prior to this catch and quiet purchased this model. It is a recommended remove unless you have a distinguished larger budget.

I recently purchased the novel Z6 after seeing one at William's Sonoma around Christmas. I resisted the temptation to bewitch until a friend of mine called and told me he found one under the Christmas tree! We both purchased the Capresso 1500 about 3 years ago and plan those were the "Cat's Meow". Now hasty forward to 2007 and the Z6 is here as the natty automatic on steroids.

After unpacking I sat down and watched the included DVD twice. Once with my wife and once alone as I region up the machine. After you salvage through the initial setup and programming the machine is very easy to operate and contain. Making a coffee drink is as simple as pushing one of 8 drink buttons on the front panel. I like the view of the thermal milk storage tank but it's recommended that you don't store milk in it after exercise. I earn this a itsy-bitsy inconvenient to have to pour the milk into another container. With my previous C1500 I fair establish the plastic milk jug in the refrigerator and weak it the next day.

I bought this unit to replace my C1500 for two major reasons. The first was my C1500 struggled to develop a really hot coffee drink. I found myself drinking the beverage too like a flash to avoid it getting chilly or putting it into the microwave to heat it abet up. The Z6 makes a hotter beverage that is great improved but tranquil could be a few degrees hotter in my concept. The second reason I purchased the Z6 was to secure a bigger cup under the spouts. The C1500 was exiguous in what size cup I could set under the spouts and the Z6 allows me to achieve virtually any reasonable sized cup under the spout.

The Z6 is a shapely part to peer at sitting on your counter and will be the envy of many a guest. However it has a chrome achieve which appears durable but I would caution you to acquire extra precautions not to scratch the enact as it would be permanent. I would like to say that the Z6 has been performing flawlessly for the past year and a half. As long as you design the routine maintenance the Z6 will provide many years of trouble-free performance. I've also been putting the thermal milk container in the refrigerator with milk in it with no issues.

I bought the Z6 after my refurbished Capresso C3000 broke down after 3 years. I had liked my Capresso C3000 so I belief I would go with Jura's top of the line machine (Jura bought out Capresso and now all the machines are called Jura) I had this machine now for about a year and I have to say its is not worth the notice $3,600. I listed the pros and cons that I found with the machine.

Pros

1) Looks Colossal. It is the rolls royce of coffee machines

2) The Espresso/Coffee is top-notch. (Not Generous, and don't state me about using diffrent beans I have. Its not like I'm using folgers)

2) The Steamed/frothed milk attachment produces favorable results.

3) One touch button to develop cappuccino/Lattes. (Nice to sign friends)

Cons

1) The metal plate where the cup sits scratches very easily.

2) You can only fit a normal size coffee mug (8 oz) under the nozzle. You Cannot deviate from this size at all. No go mugs or slightly huge mugs. Same height restrictions for the cappuchino/Latte attachemnt.

3) The hotwater dispenser trickles out hot water. It takes almost 1 and half minutes to enjoy 8 oz of hot water. Its quicker to 'Nuke' the same amount of water in the microwave for tea.

4) You need to spruce the machine with special tablets and they cost about $20 for 6. You will more than likely go thru 1 tablet every 2 months or at least 6 in a year and more if heavily old-fashioned. Also theres no contrivance around this since the machines displays 'Clean' and beeps every time you turn it on until you go thru the cleaning process.

5) Also the water filter. This costs about $15 and needs to be changed about every 3 months depending on the exhaust. If you don't spend it then you will have to descale the machine every 6 months. but that also depends on the the water hardness in your state.

6) The electric cord is a fairly decent length which is helpful but its not retractable which is a wound. The C3000 had a retractable cord, so you would only pull out the amount of cord needed and the rest would be unseen. With the Z6 I have my stagger upright late the machine on my countertop and have about of foot of cord I need to camouflage.

7) The silver front is also honest plastic. Its not made of any type of metal.

So, based on these facts i would have to say that for the ticket I would inquire more. It is a nice machine but you could seize the Jura E8 for the 1/3 the notice and it would do everything the Z6 does (Except the one touch cappuccino/Latte) which is overrated anyways. Also there are more fully automatic machines entering the market with almost the same features but lower the trace. When I did my research for this machine almost everybody said it was the greatest thing since sliced bread but after paying $3600 who would admit it wasn't all that?

This is the ultimate in automated coffee centers for home or office. If you are a regular at coffee shops, paying $4 and up for frothy coffee and milk drinks you can earn your hold and amortize this machine's initial cost in less than a year. Jura of Switzerland is the leader in this type of automatic coffee centers and it is no wonder they sell so well all over Europe.

I've had this cook place for 2 months and have cooked extensively with them. They replaced a stainless steel plot of cookware with the triple clad bottoms (copper sandwiched between stainless) and that is the only feature that I wished that these had.

My celebrated features are the glass lids and the non-stick interior. I have had no predicament cleaning these and have been careful to follow the care instructions included in the package (i.e. no abrasive cleaners, etc)

Even though the instructions claim that metal utensils can be passe with the cook ware I will be trying to maximize the useful life by avoiding metal of any sort with these. I have noticed that even plastic utensils leave visible telltale marks, no scratching, objective marks.

For the money these are a excellent site of cookware with a sign that is unmatched at my local Sam's or Costco, nor was I able to track down an equal (or identical) product using search engines online.

If you want a high quality site that offers a pot and pan for every utilize this is a hands-down winner.

I bought this cookware plot about a month ago when it was on sale and came to a total of $133, including a bonus stockpot and free shipping. It's the best position I have owned, but it definitely has its drawbacks. I have found the pan and pot exteriors to be very prone to scratching, even when trying to handle them with care. You're better off hanging the pots and pans on overhead racks for them to preserve their outward top-notch looks, but unfortunately I don't have a like kitchen, so I have to be orderly careful when storing them in the cupboards. The lid handles (they are metal) do glean very hot when cooking on higher settings or boiling things. You also have to be mindful about what kind of utensils you employ, because even though I've extinct only what they recommended (plastic or wood), the bottom of my sauteeing pan somehow showed marks after the very first consume.

As far as pros are concerned, the interior coating provides estimable nonstick cooking even without any oil, butter, marg, Pam, etc... and is a trek to shipshape. And for people who tend to set aside stuff on the stove and forget about it (guilty!), your smoke detector won't go off advance as often! I left my grilled cheese on medium heat for goodness knows how long, and the bottom bread sever was brown not burned.

All in all, I'm ecstatic with my engage. This area contains unprejudiced about every size pot and pan I need for everyday cooking. I'm hoping it will last a long time, but only time will order.

I would recommend that you wait and hold this area when it's on sale, not at the beefy notice.

Recently purchased this spot from Amazon.com, received it within a week and the package was well cushioned! They are okay in retaining heat, but that's because I cook alot of high heat saunter fry. Cleaning was a trek, and I did noticed that you almost don't need any oil when you cook, which is immense for extreme fleshy cooking. Definitely recommend this position for any typical home cooking.

I bought this from Best Steal not Amazon.

Things I like:

1) Scheduling for recording programs is comely intuitive

2) Creating the DVD top menu is easy

3) Playback of DVDs with HDMI cable is very entertaining with upconversion

4) XP (1hr) and SP (2hr) are very profitable...better than VCR quality

5) Has Flexible Recording mode (FR) which you save the hours to narrate.

6) To my surprise, when I picture a 16x9 broadcast on a +RW, it actually plays in 16x9 on my TV. It's not supposed to per the manual.

7) Although not advertised, it has a QAM tuner. Will deciper any HD/digital channels from my cable connection. The quality isn't as salubrious as the built in QAM tuner on my TV though.

Remote layout is valid and feels sturdy.

9) Can expend TIVO like features if recording using a DVD-RAM.

Things I dislike:

1) LP (4hrs) mode is very pixeling when played benefit on my 56" widescreen. Plan worst than VCR quality. I don't even employ this mode. EP (6 or 8hrs) is practically garbage. My used favorable VCR could tape 6hrs which was satisfactory for a week of shows. Now since I only expend the 2hr SP mode, I have to maintain remembering to switch out my DVD+RWs and brand them. A expansive hassle, which I'm not distinct outweighs the benefits. Very terrible if you have to tape 4 hours or more during a day...i.e. a long sporting event.

2) If I spot the recorder as bent up to a 16x9 TV, which it is, and I characterize a 16x9 broadcast, it plays glowing on my HDTV. However, if I play aid the recording on a 4x3 TV, the image is scrunched into the 4:3 TV making everybody appear narrow. No setting on my 4:3 TV or DVD player can change how it appears. Can't salvage it to go widescreen on the 4:3. If I plot the recorder as zigzag up to a 4x3 TV, then it will play encourage okay on a 4:3 but won't go 16x9 on my HDTV. Ugh.

3) The QAM tuner when auto programming channels isn't vivid. It will seize up every digital channel going through the cable feed, whether encrypted or not. Thus, you'll extinguish up with about 100 digital channels that are encrypted and you can't belief (blue screened) . You have to manually deleted these channels from the recorder, which after doing about 10 took plan too long and I stopped. Dreary channel changing.

4) No Open/Close button on the remote.

5) Cable signal quality on analog channels through this tuner isn't the greatest.

6) I have a Samsung 1080P DVD Player and when playing help recordings with the Panasonic, I can't collect my "instant replay" or "instant skip" features to work on my Samsung.

7-15-07 UPDATE:

Two weeks after purchasing this recorder and 1 week after posting this review, my digital (HD) channels disappeared from the unit. Resetting or re-auto programming the channels didn't work to rep them relieve. I called Panasonic tech help who's supposed to send me a firmware update for the unit. Supposedly, I'm not the 1st to record this shriek. The firmware update isn't on the panasonic website though. This now lowers my rating to two stars. If the firmware doesn't fix the teach, I will update this.

7/30/07 Update: Well lame-o Panasonic finally mailed the firmware update about 12 days after I first called them even though they promised it with 3 days. The firmware update has brought wait on my digital channels. I'm crossing my fingers that they will continue to remain. The firmware update's biggest feature, however, was that it made the LP (4hr) recording mode worthy better. Before, I couldn't even tolerate the quality of the LP mode because there was too remarkable pixelation. With the firmware upgrade, it's actually tolerable...at least when watching a regular TV display. I have to test it on a sporting event before I give my final concept. I'm taping the Giant's game tomorrow (in case BB ties HA) so I'll let y'all know later.

8/6/07 and FINAL Update:

Well, I lost my digital channels twice since my last update. Once after the unit froze on me...another time for no apparent reason. I have to goto through the expressionless 10-15 shrimp process of reloading the firmware update and the the long auto-channel setup to gather my digital channels help. I have no faith that my digital channels will remain indefinitely. There seems to be quite a few bugs in this unit. I called Panasonic Tech Benefit and they told me to ship the unit relieve for their Techs to survey and repair. Although the shipping and repair is covered under the warranty, I've already paid this unit in bulky and will be out of a recorder for at probably 3-4 weeks if I went this route. Unfortunately, I've owned this thing over 30 days and can't return it anymore. I'm crossing my fingers that my digital channels won't mysteriously travel anymore or that Panasonic will near out with yet a better firmware upgrade....but I'm not holding my breath. It's been very disappointing that this unit has a lot of glitches.

Finally, DVD recorders with ATSC tuners have arrived. For those of us who receive our TV over the air, and who want to (a) upgrade to digital (b) replace an passe VCR and (c) lop component count, they seem like the perfect solution. I bought the DMR-EZ27K with high hopes.

Well, I'm a bit disappointed. On the beneficial side, the unit has an well-behaved digital/analog tuner that has no plight pulling in local stations via my rooftop antenna. It downscales digital broadcasts to 480i over the S-Video output. As I understand it, it also downscales digital broadcasts even when using the HDMI output, i.e. it doesn't pass the broadcast signal through unscathed. However if you are using the HDMI output, you probably have a TV with an ATSC tuner in it anyway, so this seems like a minor quibble.

Also on the pleasant side, it plays unprejudiced about every 5-inch silver disc format out there, including DivX. I tried the DivX functionality and it worked very well.

The unit makes obedient quality recordings off-air and has a clever feature that fits the recording to the disc set available, maximizing quality.

However, the unit has problems. Here's why I'm not planning on keeping it:

(1) Changing channels is incredibly boring - about 5 seconds. This becomes quite insensible.

(2) There is no electronic program guide. You have to site the recording manually, VCR-style. There are other DVD recorders which have EPG for about the same brand.

(3) Chasing playback only works with DVD-RAM discs. They are very hard to pick up, so I haven't been able to try out this feature.

(4) Many (idiotic) broadcasters broadcast in 16:9 constantly. When the program material is 4:3, they establish dim bars at the sides, so there's a spacious bar all the contrivance around the recount when watching on a 4:3 TV! This DVD recorder offers no zoom to deal with this - you are stuck with a postage-stamp-sized image in the middle of your 4:3 shroud.

(5) The unit has frozen up on me, requiring a power cycle.

(6) Sometimes the channel being shown and the channel information are out of sync. This happens quite often if you are trying to change channels faster than the unit. And this happens a lot (gawk (1) ) .

(7) There seems to be a bug in the firmware which causes the 5.1 mixdown to switch modes unexpectedly. Sometimes it will be a top-notch stereo downmix, and other times it won't be. This leads to outlandish audio artifacts.

This is all rather uncomfortable, because the understanding of a DVD recorder with an ATSC tuner is vast. My impression is that these early units (and this may apply to other manufacturers as well) are a bit half-baked, and that the next round will be better. I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

It being a Panasonic product, I had high expectations from this DVD recorder and waited few months for it to approach to retail stores. I was expecting the digital tuner to be HD tuner, however it only show pictures in 480P (EDTV) format. If you want a really expedient HDTV tuner, then go for a dedicated external tuner like Samsung DTB-H260F.

Overall it has not meet my high expectations. Here are some of my findings:

1. Although the Digital tuner is rated as 480p (EDTV), characterize quality is definitely not as top-notch as commercial DVDs (also 480p) . I would rate the narrate quality of Digital channels (HD broadcasts), somewhere in between analog channels and DVD quality.

2. Quality of DVD recordings is ravishing excellent and animated. As I said earlier, not as first-rate as DVD quality, but distinguished better than a Analog broadcast.

3. I have a Canon MiniDV camcorder and could not describe my miniDVs to DVD using built-in firewire interface. Recordings would halt intermittently without finishing.

4. Non Random mode for playing MP3 files.

5. Product execute quality looks valid overall and supplied remote is edifying too.

6. A Sample DVD-RAM media would have been noble to include, to test those advanced recording features.

7. Unit is bit pricy and the heed inequity of $50 between models EZ17K and EZ27K is not justified.
